In short: Good value for money however people running with dogs and also the thin width to run through at certain points and over roots and forest obstacles made it very potential to get injuries.

In short: Very enjoyable cross country
In full: Really enjoyed running on paths though the park - sure it was muddy, but a scenic run and enjoyable atmosphere. Started bang on time and no problems getting on or off site. Full marks for free parking as well

In short: Great opening race for beginner trail runners.
In full: Organisation was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff and marshals. Muddy course but what do you expect, it all adds to the fun. Challenging enough if you want good training session and potential for a good trail 10km pb. Great early start. Wish more races started at 10.

In short: the going...very soft to boggy
In full: i know tatton park well and knowing the route i was prepared for the mud. maybe the organisors should have warned runners that it could be muddy.
i really enjoyed the race and after recent injuries i feel i'm hitting a bit of form again. i love the middle section of the race at the far reaches of the park where the views across the bollin valley toward manchester airport are stunning.
i would recommend any races at tatton but do bring your trail shoes at anytime of the year.

In short: Muddy
In full: Can't do much about the weather and after a few days rain it was almost inevitable that the off road sections would be a slog.
Was towards the front so no problems keeping out of the way of others but can imagine the quagmire bits weren't much fun wherever you were in the field.
Organisation was great and Tatton Park is often a pleasure to run around but a lot of this run was spent trying to stay upright. Having done the Tatton Half late last year I'm unsure why we couldn't have stayed on the roads within the park a bit more for this.

In short: 10k swamp
In full: In places the course was an absolute bog and narrow especially in the first few Km which lead to bottlenecks, slips and falls. Beautiful location but really the organisers / landowners should make an effort its a trail race not an adventure race. Other than taht the organisation was good and the marshals excellent, good atmosphere and great location
