In short: Challenging race for a beginner but fun!!
In full: A few hills, muddy spots and variety of scenery make for a very pleasant race.....glad I did the 7km and not the 10 mile!!

In short: The case of the missing marshal!
In full: Posted on behalf of the wife!
Well, despite the snow, this was an enjoyable event but quite a few runners missed a turning and ended up adding nearly 1k on to the route: After crossing a field and coming out on the Worcester road, runners were directed along the pavement. The next turning back on to a footpath over the railway was not obvious, had no signs and no marshal, and quite a few runners carried on down the road, only realising their mistake when they got to the traffic lights. They then had to retrace their steps. The marshal at Ounty John Lane was informed and they sent somenone down to direct, but I guess this was already too late for quite a few ladies. Shame this spoilt what is normally a very well run race.

In short: Enjoyable race
In full: As others have said, couldn't hear speaker at start of race and a couple of spots that you had to walk due to number of people, would have been better if two races were staggered. Marshalls were great and friendly. Prefer a medal to a towel!! Would do again....maybe ready for the 10 mile next year!!

In short: Good for first timers cross country
In full: Not a great memento, a stourbridge stagger towel, of which as a ladies 6k competitor I did not compete in. Last year a lovely glass cube with race details on. Very disappointing if your motivation is the "prize/memento^.

In short: 6K turned out to be 7.1K
In full: Good challenging run, hilly, icey, muddy and fun. There were 3 places where you had to que and walk to get over stiles or though bottleneck narrow passageways, so not a run to try a personnel best.

In short: Enjoyable, but as the Stagger and the Ladies only started at the same time , we encountered a bottle neck of runners,
In full: Would prefer it if the 2 races started at slightly different times
