In short: Fantastic half marathon In full: Tried to put a review for 2010 but disnae seem to hae one ? ... or I cannae find it, anyway, I did it in 2009 so it`s the same review for both years. This is without doubt a terrific half marathon. Very well organised. Great value for money. Volunteers who cheer you on and encourage you to do well. Friendly at every water-station, marshall point, and the bestest medal ever, for a half marathon - unlike the dire cheap, tacky tin ones others give out. Great goody-bag and a very welcome post-race nibbles and coffee. Other organisers could learn a lot from these guys at Loch Leven half marathon. Keep it up !. Date of review: June 4, 2010

In short: Excellent race - sold out this year, which is no surprise In full: Superbly organised race, lots of support, great route around the loch, with a couple of 'undulations'. The headwind was from the east this year, for a change. Roll on next year's race. Date of review: May 19, 2009

In short: Excellently organised, very friendly, great course In full: Very enjoyable day especially due to super organisation (in contrast to this years Great Edinburgh Run 10K) and the great hospitailiy of the Kinross and surrounding area residents, loud cheers from locals all round this beautiful course.
The course is more challenging than expected, but fun.
Really enjoyable day that has given me a high that I suspect will give me a high for many days yet.
Only one complaint, really more for Jeremy Clarkson, I was slowed for about 300m behind a caravan as it left no room for the runners!!! Date of review: May 16, 2009

In short: A good, well organised race In full: The course is a bit more challenging than the advertised "gently undulating" however it is good fun and well organised. Even the weather held off until 90 minutes into the race when the skies opened. If you are patient with the hills the last few miles are pleasantly downhill. Date of review: May 16, 2009

In short: The weather was perfect compared to what's been reported previous yearrs! In full: Best organised race I've done. 4 well placed water stops along the course. Beautiful scenery. Loved the attitude of Scottish club runners. I'm English and no longer affiliated. Wish I lived in Perth as their gang were ultra friendly. Loved the people in Kinross..especially Roxburge Guest house breaky. Will be back next year DEFO! Date of review: May 18, 2008

In short: Excellent Race - Well organised. Thanks to all concerned In full: My first time doing this run and did my 2nd best Half marathon time. Entered on day - no problem. Weather kind but not always so I believe. Not as flat as you may expect but very steady. Well organised and friendly. Good tea and cakes at finish. Nice Towel memento. Many thanks to Kinross Road Runners - Cheers. Date of review: May 18, 2008

In short: Well-organised as usual, this year with chip timing, really friendly and helpful volunteers In full: This is always a good race with a really friendly smiling bunch of volunteers at the start, on the course and at the finish. The medals were replaced with fluffy towels this year, which was great for those of us with a drawer full of medals (old gits that is) but I imagine might have disappointed the novices. This is the only race I've run which has given out potatoes and carrots at the end, and very tasty they were too. Date of review: May 18, 2008

In short: Had a great day at Loch Leven Half Marathon In full: A very well organised and scenic race around Loch Leven. I really liked the souvenir towel and bag. Thought they were much better than a medal. We even got good running weather for a change! Date of review: May 18, 2008
