In short: A seemingly smooth running race with no major issues, first run for me down here with pleasant weather, the half marathon is normally known for atrocious weather conditions.

In short: my first competative 10K - would recommend
In full: great free parking close to start - no queues in or out
encouraging marshalls & great commentator
nice undulations - added a bit of interest
well organised - great to have people with scissors at the end to cut off the timing chips
was a bit hot but the organisers can hardly be blamed for that!!
will be back

In short: Friendly race - nice scenery
In full: Nice run, well organised with 2 water points and friendly marshals. Shame there was no supervised baggage area as I did not drive and had to trust in the long grass. Commentator did a great job encouraging everyone from the 7 year olds to the last adults in the 10k.

In short: An excellent race with superb memento
In full: This was the 2nd time I'd run this race. I live in Oxfordshire so tied it in with a choir rehearsal in Morriston.
The organisation was superb with encouraging marshalls and an even more encouraging race commentator. This race has a lovely atmosphere and runs through gorgeous scenery. As for the memento. Wow. One of the best I've seen. Something that isn't advertised, and is really useful for those of us who live outside the area, is that runners can use the showers at the local leisure centre free of charge.

In short: Brilliant organisation from start to finish
In full: An event for runners (and walkers) of all abilities and set in one of the most beautiful areas of the south Wales coastline.

This is a regular 10k for me. I don't live local to the event but travelling to take part is hassle free. Easy to get to with ample free parking just metres from the start and finish.

Everything run like clockwork again by the brilliant organisers.

Warm and encouraging welcome by all the marshals.

A bargain event ... although would have been nice to have a goody bag.

All in all first class and would recommend to anyone wanting to take part in a fantastic 10k.

See you in March 2010 for the Llanelli half.
