In short: well organised and a nice stadium finish, but expected more atmosphere for a capital city race and the number of runners.

In short: Nice circuit and some challenging sections. Would be nice to receive a little more encouragement from the spectators. Overly long delay at the start and the time clock at the finish wasn't working !

In short: Windy & hilly so not a pb course, but great scenery
In full: Despite some of the other comments I thought the course was OK - you just can't run in Edinburgh without hills, and at least they sorted out the hairpin bends & switchback turns from 2003! The wind was the toughest factor for me, especially up the first hill.
Distance markers were all over the place or non-existent (where was 8km?) Last 4km was fast, downhill & downwind which helped me get my first sub-37 time in this event. I didn't have any complaints aout the organisation at the finish - plenty water, bananas and goody bags on hand. T-shirt is a bit garish!

In short: This was my first race and I manged to do it in 41:49:70. The start could have been better organised because although I started at what was supposed to be the 45min group I was fighting through the pack for the first couple of K's.
