In short: Flat and wind permitting a definate PB course. In full: A race worth doing again, well organised and ran to time. Very clear instructions on starting and finishing and well marshalled throughout. A lap of the stadium track to start and finish add an extra special touch.
A tadge on the expensive side for a 5 mile; but then the race supports the British Legion - maybe more publicity regarding the support this race provides to the Legion would help explain the apparent high entry fee.
Great race and aim to return next year. Date of review: November 14, 2005

In short: Good chance of a PB, nice stadium start finish. Easy to get to on the edge of the town. In full: Overall a good race to do with good chance of a PB and fairly well organised. Only criticism is the junior races, too costly and short. My little Brendon Foster ran 2 miles week before so 80 meters didn't interest him. Date of review: November 15, 2004

In short: This was my first race. Well organised and really friendly runners. Looking forward to my next event now. In full: My first race after 2 months on the treadmill and loss of 2 stone from my weight. The course was flat which helped me. The organisation was first class, well signed and very friendly marshalls. Nice to get a gift at the end for my efforts! Date of review: November 14, 2004
