In short: I should have gone further to the front of the running group as lots of women couldn't run all the way round! Major bottlenecks! In full: A pleasant off-road run. Great atmosphere. The route was off-road round the park and common-land. There were however so many of us and parts of the route were through narrow wooded areas or cordoned off recently mown grass that there were some nasty bottlenecks where runners stopped to walk and didn't move to one side for those of us still wanting to run! But the overall atmosphere was great. A good first race for my friend who's just taken up running. Date of review: June 6, 2005

In short: Great atmosphere with fireman helping out in the aerobic warm-up. Lots of long grass to run through, and a few steep undulations make it a challenging course for a beginner. I got a new pb and finished 20th overall, so it made at least one runner hap Date of review: June 5, 2005

In short: thiswas my first event, so I didn't know what to expect. The warm up was good and the park was buzzing. Plenty of loos (take your own tissue!) Undulating course thro the park and fields (bit uneven in places). A great introduction! Date of review: August 24, 2004
