In short: Enjoyable race at an unusual distance
In full: Excellent organisation by Yaxley. Cars ferried you from the car park to the race HQ and were waiting by the race HQ to whisk you back there. Well done Yaxley, this was a really nice touch - and gave runners the chance to discuss their efforts over the race. Could let you walk back and advertise it as a cool down but the free shuttle was a very nice touch.

Decent course, went there fearing the worst from reviews but I thought it was playful rather than demanding, the hills were cheeky rather than beastly. It is undulating though and not flat, you tend to either be heading up or down nearly the entire time.

Great spring marathon training race, excellent bright technical t-shirt on completion and overall well worth the drive from South Norfolk for my 15M debut.

In short: A great pre-marathon challenge.
In full: This is a very good 15 mile event that provides a challenge but is not to overwhelming. There's 6 hills in total but none to ridiculous. The weather on the day provided an extra test too.

The two laps were not really a problem either. The 2nd seemed different to the first for some reason plus you had a good idea where to push for the finish.

I loved the technical t-shirt at the end. It's good to receive something you can actually make use of.

Well done to the organisers for re-arranging the event after it got snowed off initially.

I'll be back next year

In short: Great organisation, unpleasant weather, challenging hills - good marathon training
In full: I was dreading this races as I am not a hill specialist and everyone said it is really hilly. There are three hills on each lap, but they are pretty short and there is plenty of down and much of it is reasonably flat. The race had to be postponed for 3 weeks because of the snow in January, but the organisation was good, plenty of marshalls getting cold and wet (sharing our pain), and a nice quality technical shirt at the end. A good challenging run to kick start marathon training.

In short: Brutal
In full: As the organisers state in their results email "the weather conditions contributed to making a tough course even tougher". Cold, wet windy and hilly but very well organised with good quality T-shirt.

Don't think I'll be doing again though you never know.

In short: Very well organised, lovely course with friendly marshalls.
In full: I was very impressed with the organisation both pre-race and post-race. The marshalls were all friendly and helpful and runners all received chocolate, an energy bar and water on completion of the race. I had already picked up my free t-shirt before the race had begun. Transport was provided for the 3/4 mile (ish) distance from carpark to start line and back again after the race.
As a first-timer of the 15 mile distance I really enjoyed this race. I had been pre-warned about the 'awful' hill towards the end of both laps. But I didn't feel that it earnt the 'awful' title and there was much encouragement in the form of marshalls and general public on both of my laps at this point. I will definitely be back next year!

In short: Who put that hill in the way?!
In full: Entered this as part of a build up to my first Marathon and it was a really good race for that purpose - and it's sold as such.
The organiser's weren't helped by the weather, with very stong winds blowing right into you face as you headed up the steep hill. But I suppose I can't blame them for that. 2 laps, and I did get lapped (first time there) but it's long enough that it didn't feel repetetive (although I could have done without that transmitter hill again). I liked the T-shirt collection before, as it meant I got a size that fitted me, rather than an elephant. Facilities pretty good in the school - no queue to the ladies either, which was a bit of a first! The most supportive marshals imaginable. The one who told me, on the first lap, to run my own race, they'd be there as long as we needed them, was just typical. They must have been freezing, but I think every one of them clapped and said something encouraging each time. Not traffic free, but (at the back) that wasn't an issue. Could be argued that the cut off time of 3 hours was a bit tight, but I consider myself a slowcoach & I got round. Would I have entered this if I wasn't heading for a marathon? Possibly not, but it fits right into a marathon build-up and I might feel the need to sort out that PB next year.

In short: Great race, brilliantly organised
In full: Undulating rather than hilly, but challenging in the wind.
Great organisation, friendly marshalling.
Car parking a long way away from the HQ, but made better by excellent shuttle service.
I had a great day. I'll almost certainly be back next year.
