In short: Excellent mid-week race
In full: Fast flat course on country roads. I have run this the last 2 years and really enjoy it. A good mix of decent/beginner standard runners, though I think they deserve many more than the 116 finishers this time!
Organisation is excellent, the only questionable thing was that they gave a prize for '3rd Under 40' to the 12th placed runner, sending home 7th, 8th, 9th and 11th with nothing as they were in age categories. Surely the Over 45 who finished 7th should get a prize for 3rd rather than the Under 40 who was 12th?
I strongly recommend this event to anyone looking for a good fast 5K mid-week race out of town.

In short: Fast course, well organised race
In full: Well marshalled race thru South Wirral country roads. Very fast finish; only slow part of course is the 200m stretch on the A540. The organisers running out of safety pins for race numbers is about as big a complaint as I can make which says it all really.

In short: Very well organised, fast and flat
In full: My only crisiticism is that the finish line should be a bit wider to accomodate sprint finishers who may be racing each other. However, an otherwise perfect race, nice scenery, well organised and completely flat.

In short: nice night
In full: enjoyed the race, a good turnout too with all standards, fast pace so definite pb potential. A good benchmark for me as there are lots of races here and it's very close to home. maybe a little pricey for such a short race with no gift.

In short: 100% PB potential, flat and quick.
In full: Well organised race, very well marshalled and they gave lots of encouragment along the route.
Good turn out too, just right for a midweek race.
Looking forward to next years.
