In short: For a first time cross country event this was fun!
In full: I really enjoyed this one. It was quite a fast and furious start but once the race settled there were still plenty of people around me. One narrow bit that slowed me a bit, but otherwise room to overtake (and be overtaken!). Some good hills, mixed surface, lovely marshalls and altogether as smoothly run as a baby's bottom. Thumbs up.

In short: My first 10k and I really enjoyed it, as did my friends who came to support me. I was a bit puzzled to see the clock saying 7:03 when I finished, but apparently it had gone wrong. I assume I didn't go through a time warp or go to sleep for a while

In short: Great cross country course on mixed terrain
In full: I liked the fact that there were no roads or pavements at all. The course was challenging, was it just me or was there more uphill than down? The bananas were well appreciated! I did actually get a PB not sure how though as it was a challenging course!

In short: hard race with some narrow tracks and steep hills
In full: Well organised and friendly race. Narrow tracks and steep hills, especially the one on entering the woods. Plenty for the non runners to do apparently.

In short: Good Cross Country race, Trackways were a bit narrow for overtaking, but nice free bananas and food stall.
In full: Lovely sunny day, good forset senery, was hard to overtake runners on narrow trackways, and paths churned up saw a few runners taken down with twisted ankles but was cross country. overall was friendly and would recomemd to do it again, but this time start further up field as not get stuck behind people.

In short: Nice, challenging course, running on everything from ploughed field to road so not easy. Great fun though.
