In short: Poor welcome and reception but good track/run
In full: Staff at desk had no info on drinking stations/arrangements when I asked them. Liked the mile markers and the nature of the run, not too difficult and reasonably scenic.
As a non-club runner it felt intimidating seeing all the club runners there. Fruit at the end was fantastic and too be commended - good idea wish more did this. No T shirt or momentums which would have been nice too. Weather not great either. But overall OK

In short: Good run in the countryside
In full: I enjoyed the run, did a PB, and would do it again. Would have liked a momento of the day. I found the finish a bit un friendly for the lone runner, as it was not obvious whre to get water etc..

In short: Nothing special
In full: I had a tough time today - struggling with a chest infection - but satisfied with finishing time. Worden park is a nice setting but the marshalls were not over freindly (unless you had a black and white striped vest on), Chorley Harriers were plentiful and cliquey as ever, the lack of momento was poor (and yes for a £1.50 entry fee to the fun run my stepson had a goody bag inc England car flag, drink, crisps & chewits). I'll do it again because it's local but it's not a special race for me.

In short: Well marshalled, lovely venue, pity there was no goody bag
In full: Found this a bit tough today - maybe due to the wind? Garmin read 10.26 miles so that cheered me up a bit. A nice route, repeatedly passing through the park which I enjoyed. Plenty of friendly marshalls. Now the downside - very disappointed not to get a goody bag at the end. £9 on the day entry should warrant more than simply cups of water (although plentiful). I think the fun runners got bags which included an England car flag. Saw a few of them knocking about. Surely those completing 10 miles deserve something? Will be emailing the organiser next year before deciding whether to enter. But that's my only complaint.
