In short: A challenge but very enjoyable - fantastic organisation
In full: The organisation was excellent, couldn't faut a thing! A challenging race due to the tough hills but runners were advised of this in the course profile. However you did get a real sense of achievement crossing the finish line. The Marsalls were brilliant and very encouraging. The t-shirt and free photo are great. Overall a very enjoyable day!

In short: When they say it’s a hilly route they mean it.
In full: This is defiantly a hard run, some of the downs are as harsh as the ups. Great setting, scenery and marshalling made for an enjoyable run with a big sense of achievement. The dry weather was a plus.
Hope to do it next year.

In full: Top race. The hills were, well, as expected - pretty tough.
Generally loved it but will never get over the twits who run up and down the course.

In short: That was a Hummmmmdinger alright !!!!!
In full: It was my first time but I’m all knowing now.
Really friendly marshals all the way around the route and that’s a compliment coming from a plodder at the back of the course. The uphill slogs were tough but running downhill felt just as merciless on my old knees. Mind you if it wasn’t a challenge it wouldn’t be half the fun!
Love the T-shirt, fab design and great to get a free photo at the end, thank you.
Only one low point and that was when a 4x4 type vehicle forced the female runner in front of me into the hedge. How rude was that from a tweed jacket wearing bloke? I guess he’d lost the plot after getting caught up with runners earlier on the road.
Overall, a friendly event, superb location and excellent organisation.

Hilly route that doesn't get any easier but I must be getting better as I managed to run both of the shocking hills this year. Marshalls are great and atmosphere lovely. The winners are incredibly fast and my hat goes off to them over such a demanding course.
See you next year...
This was my 4th year, as have done this race from the first one. Perhaps I will get an anniversary prize next year.

In short: hilly, fantastic, exillerating, beautiful and amazing friendly runners and marshalls
In full: this was only my third race and it was brilliant more donkey than race horse i loved it, it was very hilly and hard work but beautiful scenery broke this up with 2 amazing down hills!!! all runners friendly and supporting each other, wonderful atmosphere, the marshalls were great cheering you on all the way.would recommed this race to everyone just be prepared for a challenging but uplifting run.will be there next yr.
