In short: Worth turning up, just for the excellent quality medal!
In full: I found this race whilst sifting through the Runners World website, it looked like a decent race from the ratings that were posted and I wasn't disappointed.

NEGATIVE: It was quite cramped inside the ski headquarters, this made it difficult to see/read the signs that were up. Why was it cramped? lots of people waiting for a few number of toilets. The water station could have been better organised, there were people there, just not very good at handing out water.

POSITIVE: The race route is quite scenic, particularly the first km. All the marshalls and the baggage handlers were very friendly and took time out to have a chat after the race. The free tea and coffee at the finish were a welcome treat! Despite no-one there knowing me, I still got applauded and cheered in at the finish, which I thought was nice of the spectators.

GOODY BAG & MEDAL: The medal had a diameter of about 6.5cm and of a good weight. It was black and gold in colour with the event name/year on it and unusually a web address of the organisers. The goody bag had a can of soft drink, creme egg and cereal bar in it, with a few other bits & bobs.

You'll need to run a time of about 32 mins to be hopeful of finishing in the top three men. The last runner came in at 1 hr 15 mins, so the overall standard was higher than at other 10K races I've completed.

In short: Great course and really well organised. Plus, VFM in spades - the goody bag was way better than anyone could expect
In full: Really enjoyed this - a genuinuely interesting course, with probably 2.5 - 3k of challenging uphill (bear in mind this is near Norwich). Marshalls were brilliant, and great conditions for running. Well done to the organisers on this one - quality event

In short: Top class organisation, felt like a proper running event !!!
In full: It's interesting reading everyone's comments because barring one or two groans this race appears to have everything for everyone. PB's for a just few (yes there ARE hills in Norfolk so let's appreciate them), a challenge (but manageable) to many, and a sense of achievement at the finish line for all. Add in to the mix a large supportive crowd at the finish (which we enjoyed 3 times over thanks to the loop!) and thoroughly professional organisation - This is one for the 'MUST DO' list next year!
