In short: Pleasant enough little race, made a nice change from tarmac
In full: No complaints really; entry was reasonable, the ample parking was free, scenery was nice though the eyes spent more time watching for horse **** than admiring the scenery, flies were munched in abundance, marshalls were many and enthusiastic, course was slightly short at 9.77k, though to be fair it never claimed to be 'accurately measured'. Occassional bottle-necks early on, but there are far worse races for this out there. Would probably do again, and certainly needs to be tried for something different. Thanks!

In short: Thoroughly enjoyed
In full: Really great race! Great spot - was lovely to run and take in the birds singing and the gorgeous evening smells of the flowers and plants.

Interesting mix of trails and grass - wouldn't like to do this in the wet as I am not an experienced trail runner but I found it a welcome change from tarmac, just had to watch for occassional ruts and hoof intents (and horse poo!). Mostly flat (hooray!) with a couple of cheeky tiny inclines and short sharp decents but nothing awful.

Weather was great, nice and cool but bright and cheerful!

The marshalls were great - loads of them and all super encouraging. Thank you SO much to the marshalls!

Just one thing, watch the flies in certain points, and keep your mouth closed! LOL

This race promised PB potential and I got it too. Thank you!!

In short: A lovely run by lakes and river
In full: The start was a bit narrow, but after the first half kilometre there was plenty of room. A very pleasant evening run which was enthusiastically marshalled. Well done all.

In short: A really good race for the novice 10K runner.
In full: This is the 3rd race that I've entered & I'd recommend it for any novice runner. I only stumbled across it at the last minute (was it advertised well in advance? Can't say I saw it if it was), but the race organisation was excellent - and the marshalls & spectators really kept you going (best I've come across so far). The mozzies also added a novelty element - see how many you can swallow in one go. I'll defianetly be back next year, if I see it advertised that is!

In short: Very good race, will be back next year!
In full: A very enjoyable evening out at Kingsbury Water Park. Whole course off road on various paths and trails, almost pancake flat save for a couple of 5m inclines. Paths were very hard, although a bit rough in places. One of the very best marshalled courses I've done and were very encouraging. Only small downside was that the section next to the river was swarming in mozzies, almost impossible not to get a mouth full of them!
