In short: STILL MY FAVOURITE!
In full: Still my favourite race - it is unmissable.
Great organisation ample nearby parking, short toilet queues, lovely scenery and best of all fantastic crowd support and atmosphere.
I was pleased to see chip timing this year and the on line video clip posted with race results was a lovely touch.
Many thanks as always to the organisers for a job very well done, all the volunteers and band members and perhaps most of all to the wonderful vocal spectators that make this such a fantastic event.
See you all next year - can't wait!

In short: Absolutely brilliant race and well organised. Seemed less rushed this year at the start and everybody very happy.

In short: Only third 10k and definitely the hardest - the last hill was far from funny but very enjojoyablee once at the top. Downhill finish is great - super family day out.

In short: Well done Kirkby Moorside
In full: I'll start with a couple of criticisms which stopped this race getting top marks. 1) only 1 vet category which was not mentioned on the race information and I had to ask after the prizegiving to be told it was 49 and over rather bizarrely. Previous years results indicate they did it diffrently v40, v50 etc
2) Name spelled incorectly results had to email John Schofield
3) Prizegiving ceremony took forever as there were lots of other races, 10k was lat I think the organises need to consider the people who have travelled miles to get to their race and want to get home.
Otherwise everything else about this race is fantastic, beautiful market town, great support, grandstand finish.

In short: My first ever 10K race. Really enjoyable. Good atmosphere. Fantastic downhill run to the finish. Very well organised
