In short: Muddy, hilly but all a great atmosphere and fellow runners!
In full: A little apprehensive as this was my first proper race, but felt like I fitted in - all types of runners & all ages, from the Canicross (dog) runners through to serious lyrca clad! And great water station helpers - you kept me going with your cheerie smiles!

The 2-3KM muddy climb was tough, but taken in good heart by all! Plenty of undulations but still managed a 2hrs (PB).

Coming back next year for everything (including the T shirt and Starbucks goodie bag!)

In short: Great Race through some nice woodland
In full: Well organised, enogh loos, great goody bag. Agree with other reviewers about the tough hill at the 1k mark as well as the extra 1k for the half marathoners but it did what it said on the tin and you can't really argue with that. Deserves to be a bit more supported. After the first lap there seemed to be quite big gaps between the competitors which made it feel lonelier than it needed to be. Interesting having the dog runners as well. I thought I was a sheep with the "come by" shouts from behind !

In short: great cause.
In full: Just wanted to say thanks to the organising team - this was a great course with enough hills to test you.

In short: An off road Half in surprisingly rugged Surrey woodland - fantastic goody bag!
In full: I was late arriving and in despair but apart from that everything went very well. Four laps of wet woodland but everyone seemed in good spirits, even the marshals - which is important to slow runners like me. On a fine sunny day with less mud underfoot this would be even better than it was! Any chance of signposting FROM Farnham next time? Overall, a good day out - and the best goody bag I've ever had, beats FLM into a cocked hat. Well done all.

In short: Tougher than I expected
In full: A cursory glance a few weeks ago when I entered, to cover for an abandoned half through illness, had me hoping for a PB. Should have read the reviews..It was tougher than I expected - I learned to hate the stick "off-road" bit between miles 1 and 2 - a real "eyes down and track the runner ahead" section.
The support was great and, overall, it was very well organised - particularly for those that had underestimated journey time and had to race to the start!
Overall, I enjoyed it, although getting out of the car park after the race was a bit painful...and the return leg road works might be put me off doing it again.

In short: A great early season race to really test your fitness.
In full: Thanks again for another thoroughly enjoyable race, have done the XTT events and this one is now another permanent addition to my events list. Amazing goodie bag and love the t - shirt. Am wearing it with pride, despite the aches and pains.

In short: Not a pb course but lovely surroundings, friendly and well organised.
In full: From the well planned parking before the race right up to the banana and goody bag this was a race to recommend.Encouragement all the way round and even at the slow end of the 21k for those tortoises among us.

In full: For a first time half marathon I found this course quite challenging as it was hilly and very muddy!! The extra 1km uphill for those of us doing the 21k was a bit of a killer. The event itself was very well organised, the marshalls and spectators were very encouraging and the bananas at the end and the goodie bag were well received. This is definitely not a run to get your PB, but a good course if you want a bit of a challenge.
