In short: PB potential assisted by outstanding organisation In full: Once again Chester Marathon was the highlight of one's race season, the attention to detail from Andy, Chris & team is evident from entering.
Faultless organisation, a scenic course with Chester's sights initially before heading out of the city and strong potential for a PB. Shall return, again! Date of review: October 28, 2014
In short: Great organisation, support and facilities pre-run, post-run and on the run. thank you In full: Excellent organisation and really well supported run all the way along the course. Plenty of fluids etc available on the run and the martials were encouraging - it would be helpful to runners from away if martials would indicate early which way runners were to go at junctions to allow runners to position themselves for the turn as its not always easy to see which way the road goes even with cones in place. Great place to be before the run and great reception running back into the course for the finish. Plenty to see running through Chester streets and out into the country - including running into and out of Wales!! Its a great event thank you but please make sure that the correct size finishers shirts are available to all runners, wherever they finish in the race. Would recommend this race, even with the 'little' hills for runners thinking of doing their first marathon as well as for more experienced runners wanting to challenge their time. In short: well done chester In full: a few hills but not too bad I loved the fact you run into wales then back out again probably one of the smelliest marathons I've ever done due to the country air but I still loved it Date of review: October 13, 2014
In short: A fantastic marathon, my second, I would certainly do it again and great for both beginners and speedy runners In full: This race was well orgainsed, the medal was weighty and lovely and the tech top is good quality. Great support in the villages and a really pretty route, made the miles whizz by. I really loved running into the racecourse at the end, loads of cheering. Lots of loos at the start and en route. I say - do it you will love it. Flat route apart from the blip at mile 24, which isnt really that bad. Date of review: October 13, 2014
