In short: Beautiful place, exceptionally friendly runners and organisers.
In full: The Forestry Commission really need to appreciate the awareness of this beautiful location that this race promotes and support the organisers to ensure that it continues.

In short: Great race would do again especially as i got a PB :-)
In full: Very flat (only one short rise to speak of). Plenty of water (every 2 miles) nice rucksac and cheap entry. No toilets (which we knew about) but plenty of trees. Supportive marshalls

In full: This is one of my favourite races, thought it was a really nice course even though it had been changed. Thankyou to the marshalls who are really friendly and a special thankyou to the lady with the jelly babies, a really nice touch and well appreciated, I will definitely be back next year.

In short: My first ever race & I simply loved every minute of it (all 51 of them actually!
In full: A bit nervous about how I would fair up against the pros - but everyone was so friendly and the forest was a perfect setting. I was finished before I realised just how far I had gone, the trail was so interesting it was just brilliant! I will definately be back next year - Thank you to Brandon Fern Hoppers!

In full: This race sits beautifully in the calender as a return to racing after the FLM. It is a rolling sympathetic course run in idyllic forest surroundings, traffic free, excellently marshalled and organised by arguably Britain's most fun and friendliest running club. A must for any runner who has forgotten why they run....
