In short: Well organised, very scenic and good marshalls. In full: This was my first time to do the Ponty 10m and it won't be the last. Very nice, scenic route, with a moderate hill half way around. My only suggestion would be to have 2 water stations instead of 1 (especially with cups being handed out). Date of review: August 26, 2013
In short: Good scenery, good route, without Tom Tom maybe difficult to find the race HQ In full: I travelled from Swansea to this venue which was a distance of about 59 miles. I looked online the night before for directions to the race HQ which conveniently was in a wall climbing centre near Treharris. I had a little difficulty in finding the race HQ as the local council had conveniently closed down two routes on the way. In fairness the race organisers had been out and signposted the way to the race registration area and as soon as I found Treharris, I found directions to the race HQ. I enjoyed the route along an asphalt path through two parks with one slight incline at the 3.5 mile point on offroad track. There is a great downhill section from the 5 to 6 mile point and not much of a problem with cyclists along the route. I would do it again. Date of review: August 23, 2013
In short: A good local race. In full: This was my first outing at the Reverse 10 and I thoroughly enjoyed my morning. The 1 mile long hill is a nice challenge which steals about 1 min off you and the course is fast other than that.
My only issue is that there was no marshal at about 8 mile and about 5/6 of us took a wrong turn. I didn't fare too bad as I could see the runners ahead running back but it still robbed me of about 30-40seconds. I was fuming.
To finish off though there was a nice technical t-shirt and for £12 (affiliated on the day) you cant ask for much better.
I'd do it again if I got chance. Date of review: August 18, 2013
In short: Very enjoyable race. The organisation was good, the marshalls were enthusiastic and it was a scenic route. Uphill section was a fairly gentle rise and nice downhill/level section for last few miles. Nice technical T shirt. Date of review: October 2, 2012
In short: Top Race In full: I thought it ticked most boxes in that it was well organised, a decent course, within 30 mins of home and a good entry price considering what is being charged elsewhere. It was fast in places, but the incline at 4 miles puts paid to any PB thoughts. I enjoyed it though. Date of review: October 2, 2012

In short: Keep it Here !!!!!!!!!!!!! In full: Good day out.Excellent race to include in a Marathon schedule. Strong climb for a Town Lad at mile 4, but miles 5-10 home were enjoyable. Date of review: February 20, 2011
In short: Lovely off road race In full: I really enjoyed this run...maybe that’s because I’m a valley’s boy who’s been excilled to Swansea for the last 20 years! Seeing the pit head lifts from the top of the ascent gave me a real surge of nostalgic pride and I managed to make a PB of 80mins. I personally thought that the marshal’s were great but I did witness the problem that a few of the runners had with the mis-direction...I was lucky to be slow enough to be with the pack I suppose! The scenery was uplifting, the variety of surface made it interesting and the big hill was a good challenge right in the middle of the run...nice running t-shirt too. Looking forward to competing next year, well done to the organisers! Date of review: February 20, 2011
