In short: Well-run, nice people, rather too much traffic for us rustic visitors

In short: Very frustrating that they didnt include chip timing and then produced very inaccurate results
In full: Started and finished in an industrial estate which was dismal. Much of it had to be in single file as it was on roads with traffic and no path - friends running side by side made overtaking very dangerous and near on impossible. No chip timing and my results were half a minute out (the wrong way) which was frustrating although I did get an apology it was after my club had posted them. Positives loved the tshirt prize and lots of friendly marshalls

In short: Well organised, friendly, urban 10k
In full: First time of doing this and incorporated it into a longer training run. Well organised, great race HQ and well marshalled. Shame in hindsight that we skirted around the whole of Horton Country Park, and the course couldn't pass through some of it. Personal preference though I think I'll stick to trails or rural races. Great for those chasing pbs though. Another fluorescent t-shirt!

In short: Enjoyable race
In full: Reasonably priced, well organised and not a bad 1-lap course. Plenty of parking too. Plus the sun came out so happened to be great conditions. Entry did mention a goody bag but I'm not that bothered as they are usually full of flyers. Kit kat was a nice touch.

In short: Cold but loved it.
In full: Marshalling was excellent, I found the cheery waves and encouraging comments really helped me dig in at the tougher sections... I agree with the comments about the distance markers... i wondered what on earth had happened to my pace at the end! I was a bit apprehensive about turning up and entering on my own but I needn't have been, I thoroughly enjoyed the day and best of all I smashed my PB!

In short: 2nd year for my on the doorstep race... will be back next year
In full: Another brilliant race in my home town on a course I run 3 times a week. Again well organised (number allocation as speedy as ever) and a good home crowd.
Well marshalled with additional support on the busy traffic junctions.
Only one issue, and the organisers have already apologised, the 9km marker was placed around the 9.5km mark. This sent panic into me that I 1. had further to go 2. was unfitter than I thought 3. I would never get a sub 45 and 4. I'd have to run up a hill.
Other than that a well organised enjoyable race on a great course
