In short: Great race - shame about hilly golf course!
In full: A great, scenic route around the lake before heading up some steep inclines arounsd the golf course which made for quite tough running (especially under the sun!!) However, once at the top, great views over the hills!
Overall, a great race, I'm glad I'd done a few 10k's before this as was definitely challenging at points (damn gold course!!)
Great goody bag and really friendly marshals. Around the finish had a great atmosphere with stalls and lots of people cheering! Thanks! :)

In short: Poor Start, fair climb up and around the golf course, great location
In full: As a newcomer to this event, the start wasn't that clear. Enjoyed it once I got going, two laps around the golf course, finish along the front of the lake. Watch out for the anglers. Friendly crowd and a nice T shirt. Will be there again this year.
