In short:
In full: Rare to find a 1/2 marathon on a mid week evening but ideal for anyone planning a short break in the province. (like us). The course is described as undulating which is accurate (very few flat stretches) I did well for first 10 miles but testing hills in last third got me in the end. But still had a great night followed by brill few days touring Ards penisular

In short: All I'll Say Is Get The Hill Training In!
In full: First 10k race and was impressed-interesting, hilly course taking in both urban and country roads. Friendly and encouraging spectators all the way.Good distance marking and marshalling.Only gripes were the tangle of walkers/runners in the last mile or so making it difficult for the (faster)?! runners to pass. Souvenir T-shirt was good quality but had no year on it! Petty, I know! Otherwise, a great wee night out in a family atmosphere. Well done, Lisburn. I'll be back......

In short: Challenging but fun.
In full: A good turnout. A scenic course with some good long hills all made tougher by strong gusts of wind and a bit of rain. Well organised.

In short: Wonderful race with very challenging hills in the later stages.
In full: Only disappointing factor was the fact they ran out of medals because they gave the half marathon ones to the walkers and we ended up with the walking medal. But other than that the course was beautiful and it was very well organised. Definitely one to recommend.
