In short: Great race Great T-shirt
In full: Did this race for the first time last year and was delighted by the friendly atmosphere so came back for a return run didnt get a PB but received a brilliant T-shirt bright yellow one plus a flashing arm bad for those dark wintery nights, great value for money and would recommend it for any runners who havent done this course which is down a old railway line.

In short: Well organised, good value and cake!!!
In full: This was my first time doing this event, and I got a PB ! Great marshalling full of encouragement, nice rural route, well organised, I could go on but it carrys on in this vein so u get the picture. Great bunch of runners and a nice t-shirt that will get used. Also, my wife and kids come with me to races and offen get a bit bored waiting for me, but as u start and finish pretty much in town center, there is something to do for them. Saying that, I think my daughter was happy to stay close to the delicious cakes ! I wouldn't class it as a perfectly flat course, but only slightly undulating in places, so still a fast course.

In short: just as good as last year . pity more runners did not turn up
In full: This is such a friendly race. The HQ is in the city hall so it is good to keep warm while waiting for the start and you can leave your bag safely. Then during the race the marshalls are great. So friendly and encouraging. Finally at the finish there was bar code timing, an excellent t-shirt, flashing wrist band , banana and water and all for £12. Fantastic. Back in the city hall there is cake and cups of tea. What more could you really want from a race! I hope more runners turn up next year.

In short: Outstanding race with brilliant marshalls.
In full: Great weather helped to make this a wonderful race. A muddy course but very flat and with a few interesting sections. Brilliant marshalls , full of encouragement ,clapping all runners and making you smile despite all the effort. Then at the end a brilliant t-shirt; one you will actually want to wear, and cakes and cups of tea to finish it all off. It would be difficult to manage with a lot more runners but I would have to say if you want a really enjoyable race this could be the one.

In short: Superb Marshalling, flat course. Good value for money
In full: Well organised race. All met up in the Town Hall where it was warm and dry. The move to the start line well communicated and clear audible start. Marshalls at every k marker. Never met such keen and friendly people. My Garmin measured only 6.11 miles?
