In short: What a fab course with fab marshalls :) In full: What a really friendly race, loved it. Due to health and safety reasons the course had to be changed to a less diverse route, but hey it was better than calling it off, so many thanks indeed. Well orgnanised, friendly marshalls, friendly runners and the full use of the leisure centre - what more can you ask, well worth the money, I have paid a lot more and got a lot less out of a race. Fab :) Date of review: February 23, 2014
In full: You turn up pay your money and run, no frills no fuss and that suits me just fine. The last quater mile was round a very muddy field with deep puddles so you couldn't coast into the finish you had to slog all the way to the line. this is a good testing race and i would run again in 2015...
In short: Great course and completely traffic free. In full: Loved the route which was in the most part firm underfoot. Met some very friendly Bulls at 5 miles who seemed to want to join in! Would love to run the course on a summers day. Date of review: February 24, 2013
In short: Beautiful day, lovely race In full: The weather was kind, the marshalls were plentiful and smiling, lots of water stations, cheeky incline as always at the end - loved it. Well organised and more people should run this one. Date of review: February 28, 2012
In short: Beautiful scenery and well organised In full: I would reccommend this race to anyone. Friendly Marshalls who kept you going the whole way round! Great route (apart from re-visiting that hill at the end!). Well organised, easy to find and enough parking. See you next year! Date of review: February 26, 2012
In short: Muddy fun! In full: Very muddy in places this year, but this is a great little race. Mainly flat along a disused railway and by a river, with a few stiles thrown in for fun. Low key and welcoming, great marshalling (thank you), hot showers available after to get rid of the mud, and then a cuppa - what could be better? Date of review: February 28, 2011
