In short: great pb potential,
In full: fast and flat being on an airfield, well mashalled and friendly. although would have prefered medal, instead of drinks bottle.

In short: Got my PB, so a little special..
In full: In training for the Paris Marathon in April and needed a quick half marathon event to enter. I managed to complete the event with a PB and was delighted with my personal achievement, however my watch timer didn't correspond with the chip times and I am now a little confused about my official time.
Did anybody else experience timing problems? The race did measure 13.2 miles, a medal would have been nice..

In short: Flat and quick but an uninspiring venue
In full: Simple, quick race with good marshalling. Nice to get support and a drink each lap. Agree with the comments on the goody bag, really wanted a medal for my first half.
My main gripe was the finish - down, back and down again. The section back up was messy and didnt seem to have been run one before we turned up - surely it would have been possible to extend the laps elsewhere so you ran down the finishing straight once.

In short: Fab to focus on your PB....not the scenery
In full: I thought ths was a great flat venue, loved doing laps and running past my wife & kids.
Loved the warm up and the 'running' commentary was great all the way til the end.....which was nearly me!
Will be back in November

In short: Definate PB course but overall a little dull
In full: A bit of an odd one - start didn't seem overly organised and course was quite dull but saying that, great PB course. Didn't think the end was very kind, running to finish and then turning us around to running away again for another 1.5km was pretty mean.

In short: Excellent potential for PB, weather permitting!
In full: With excellent weather conditions this course was ideal for those chasing PB's although it did measure 13.2M!. As it is an open and exposed course this would be one heck of a challenge if the wind and rain turned up!
Generally well organised although I would also question the poor quality of the goody bag. Runners who entered the 10K race prior to the Half Marathon were rewarded with medals why not those entering the Half?

In short: Not much to say, it was ok, but no more than that. "Goody bag", the word goody should be removed. It was a bag full of very little
In full: Organisation very disappointing, no one appeared to in charge. Plus a bizarre system, whereby you queued up, then someone would shout "look for your names on the list first in order to get your number" then you would have to queue again.
Trying to get a bottle of water, very difficult, need more than one refreshment point. Goody Bag, contained a green banana, energy bar, a drinks bottle, and bits of paper.

In short: Enjoyable.
In full: Good, quick race. Conditions were favourable for quick times. The marshals were kind and encouraging. Very little spectator support and nothing short of a pathetic 'goody bag' were the only disappointments.
