In short: great prep for London - well organised & nice course
In full: First-timer and will definitely do again.
Lovely route along the Thames which I will repeat for some training runs. A little muddy at points and some off road terrain but still a reasonably fast course. The out and back route is great for marathon pacing if you want to split the race in half.
Very well organised and great having pacers. Great refreshments and home baking at the finish.
Because of type of event, the course and time there is not much support from the public on the course but I have rated it higher because of the great support from marshals and fellow runners.

In short: Great event - but beware uneven terrain
In full: This is a great event, well organised and perfect build up for London Marathon. The route is flat alongside the river from Putney to Richmond, but beware the teraain is very mixed - road, pavement, cobblestones, trail, track, tow path etc., ad as a result is tough on the feet. I badly aggravating my achilles during teh race which was a shame, but not the fault of the organisers or route. It was just one of those things. Beware though if you do have niggles in that area.

In short: A small, but perfectly formed, event
In full: This had all the advantages of a club event (intimate and welcoming) with efficient organisation (baggage drop was a small tent where you could leave your bag literally 5 minutes from the event start). Home made cakes at the end - yum. The route was multi-terrain, being a flat tow path, with a mix of road, gravel, cobbles and a bit of mud. Lovely views of the Thames. Water/Gatorade every 3 miles (in cups so I was covered in the stuff, but that's a small price to pay). I'd recommend it as a pre-marathon training event (pacers were very encouraging) or even as an event in itself. Will definitely do it again next year. Thank you Clapham Chasers for making everyone welcome.

In short: Fantastic training run
In full: A really well organised, friendly paced run catering for all abilities. The start time was a little early for non-locals but the home made cakes at the end more than made up for it.
