In short: enjoyable flat race along the sea front with the predicatble wind blowing!
In full: Although the route was changed at the last minute I really enjoyed this run, only 300 people so quickly thinned out and easy to maintain your own pace.

In short: A good race.
In full: The marshalls were very supportive. It must have been hard standing there for two hours as it was cold and windy at first. I know the route was changed, but it could not be helped. I think I prefered the new route, as more scenic. I do not really mind the cups, if it keeps the price down. I am not going so fast that it goes all over me, but I know this must be annoying if you are running faster! Good support from the public here, I thought and even good support from the fast runners running to the finish. I shouted "well done" to the winning male (I assume he won, anyway) and he kindly shouted the same back to me, even though he was winning! How thoughtful!

In full: I thought this was a well organised race and, considering they had such short notice about the route change, the organisers did a great job in rearranging. Because of the short notice in the change I will even forgive them for having to run on the road with cars coming up behind. It might have useful for them to have put up a map of the new route at the registration tent rather than someone having to shout instructions at the start. Yes, bottles of water might have been better but I can live with that. I found all the marshalls really supportive and thanked them in return- marshalling is a bit of a thankless task. I took five minutes off my PB so had a really good day! I liked the choice of chocolate at the finish and am glad they didn't bother with the rubbish tee shirt so many races give at the finish. Thanks for a good day!

In short: Not the best i've done by a long way
In full: Thought the price was steep not value for money, drinks in cups is just no good you end up with most in your face especially in the wind, the marshalls up to mile 7 were not encouraging at all,the latter part marshalls were though in fairness the first water station was poor the marshalls on there were too busy talking and one cup of water was offered between about 6 runners. Some of the bib numbers looked like they were cut into 3 to make three new one's. The bottle of water at the end was far too small. This may all sound petty but isn't this what our entry fee pays for?I understand they are working on the front of blackpool thus the route being changed but why didn't we receive an e mail to inform us?I really enjoy the races in Blackpool and the ones that you organise but for you this was way below standard. The race itself was ok the scenery was nice and some of the locals were supportive

In short: Enjoyable Race.
In full: Really enjoyed this race. Did Blackpool a couple of weeks ago and that was just a big slog. I think the route was changed which helped - instead of a big slog up and down, there were several turns, running through the park, along the road and along the front at St.Annes. Didn't get to Blackpool but I think that was an improvement as that would just have been a big slog and back. Choice of KitKat, Wagon Wheel, Flapjack at the end was a nice touch. A big thanks to the marashalls as well. Great Race.
