In short: Best Ultra Race i've ever done In full: I've done this race twice now and I can't recomend it enough. Anyone who likes a challenging off road ultra, should definitely have this on their yearly 'to do' list! The marshals and race team are just the best, incredibly supportive and friendly. In short: Superb organisation and super-friendly marshalls In full: I am overwhelmed by the quality of the marshalls on this one. Without exception they were all great - really good, solid and genuinely supportive, even asking how I felt near the end (!) that's a first. What a lovely lovely race. I simply can't wait for this opportunity again, roll on next year. Thank you for keeping such a great tradition going. Date of review: July 10, 2011

In short: Fantastic ultra with the best scenery of any race I have done. In full: Beautiful race across the North Yorkshire Moors. Includes woods, hills, moorland, bogs (messy) etc. Tough course, not for the faint hearted, but certainly the most inspiring race I have done for a long time. Great tradition backing the race, very famous route. Date of review: May 18, 2011

In short: An absoloute must for those who like challenging ultra marathons. One of the most scenic ultra marathons out there. In full: My favourite race of last year. 40 miles across the North Yorkshire moors. The best scenery of any marathon / ultra that I have done. Mixes woodland, hills, open moor, bogs (not fun), 99% off road. Wonderful race for those looking for someting different. Make sure that you are confident in navigation though, no directions provided, and no signs anywhere. Easily enough on the internet to provide what you need, but dont arrive unprepared, you will get lost!! PS they even provide free beer at the finish line :-) Now thats a first for me.
