In short: A few challenging hills but long descents and flat sections too. In full: I would consider running it again next year but a church of any persuasion (including the Mormons) should not use its position to promote political figures. The material in the (admittedly generous) goody bag promoting Mitt Romney as the best candidate to be next President of the United States (because he is a Mormon) is a totally inappropriate use of a sporting event to support a political figure. Really disappointing to see that. Date of review: April 2, 2012

In short: Well organised race on a fairly tough course. In full: Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Everyone involved in the organisation and stewarding of the run was helpful and enthused. The course itself had a couple of killer hills, one at a mile and a half to let you know you had started to run and one at 12 miles to make you pay for the downhill finish that followed. Thanks to all involved in the day Date of review: March 24, 2012

In short: A good and well organised race. Very hilly especially at 1.5 & 12 miles. What made it harder was the hot weather. Also good to run on a Saturday. Date of review: March 24, 2012

In short: Tough hills, but worth it! In full: This was my first HM and it was great. The hills are a killer especially at the 12 mile mark. The race was well organised with plenty of marshalls. The roads weren't closed but traffic was stopped at certain points. An excellent race. I'll be back next year. Date of review: March 29, 2011

In short: Tough but well organised In full: I had my reservations about this race as it was only the second running and it only had 28 runners last year, there were main roads and Tram lines to be crossed and these Guy's were very new to all this. All I can say is that these Guy's are well organised everything went smoothly everyone new their role all the crossings were well manned there were mile markers and arrows all round the course and I have to say that it was as good as any I have run (And I have run over 200 races)the course was tough and had been well thought through. I will be back next year as this is such a great race.
