In short: Very friendly and well organised race.
In full: This was my first Tavy 13 but, having run many Tavy 7's, I wasn't worried about the organisation or facilities. From start to finish, it's a very well run and professionally organised race. The course itself is quite challenging with one major hill and lots of other undulations along the way. The scenery is great however, and there are always lots of friendly runners to talk to when the going gets tough. The marshals were encourageing and the PA announcer makes it feel like a big city race at the end. There were even plenty of small ladies T shirts left when I did eventually finish - it was a very, very hot day!!

In short: Wow Great run - great marshalls. A bit tough for a flat roadie like me.
In full: I did this in desperation - 2 years of injury have stopped me entering races too early and this was the only one I could get that fitted my schedule last minute. Brilliant! What a find! I've been training for a flat marathon so I found the hills testing, but what a great day, don't panic when you see you have to pick up your number on the day - flawless service, everyone, runners and all v friendly. Loads of water stops and what a fabulous finish on the track, well done to all concerned.

In short: Hot, hard and hilly!!
In full: Although it was a very hot day there were plenty of water stations to keep you going. Long old hill mid-way, aswell as some other undulations!! That said I managed a PB, so the downhill sections give you the opportunity to make up time, if you let the handbrake off fully!!!! Great commentary to keep you going on the last lap of the track, aswell as lots of support en route. All in all, as long as you've done some hill work in training, you'll enjoy this one!!

In short: Hot Weather and Hard Hills
In full: My local race so I used it as my last training run for London Marathon. Not sure how good an idea that was as it was very hot and very hilly! Good organisation and good support at the start/finish and in the town section; quieter out on the country roads. Good t-shirt but the medal was a bit cheap (which I know is not a reason to do an event, but it's feedback for next time). Overall an enjoyable run and I would like to do it again as a one off.

In short: hot and hard hills
In full: great organisation with excllent support, the weather and hills made this nearly 20 mins off my pb but well worth doing. Good t-shirt even though the medal was a bit poor. Thank you Tavistock.

In short: Superb weather for the 2nd running of this excellent event.
In full: Lots of marshals, lots of supporters and the sun shone to counter the cooling breeze! The route was very well chosen: through the historic town centre, along an old railway, past delightful countryside, up a hill(!), a most daunting flat straight (could I make any ground on those ahead? (No!)), down steeply and back beside the River Tavy for a good 600m track finish. Thanks to all concerned.
