In short: Not Spoilt by the most horrendous weather conditions immaginable
In full: Cold, Wet, very wet, windy you name it weather wise it had it.
But
Couldn't take away from the brilliant organisation and friendly event. Dancing marshalls and cars playing rocky music just keep you going.
Great event if not a tough event, anyone even considering doing a Marathon should fit this race in to their schedule.

In short: An excellent race in horrible weather
In full: I'm slightly biased as I live locally and run the route at least once a month, however it is my favourite race; the course, marshalls and atmosphere are always excellent, even in terrible weather!

In short: Very good race.
In full: Great race, great course, great marshalls and great organisation. Well worth the journey to this race. Not as hilly as I thought it would be. Well done to all involved in the club/race.

In short: The Weather didn't dampen our spirits :-)
In full: The worst day imaginable for running, but this is a great course supported by some excellent Marshall's which made this race run as well as the water that was cascading from the clouds.
Thanks South Cheshire Harriers for a great day.

In short: Worst weather - Made as best as it could be
In full: I just wanna echo everyone else to thank the marshalls and organsiers for still getting this race on. It was hard for runners but even harder for marshalls standing there for over 4 hours in torrential rain genuinely being enthusiastic. I was amazed and really helped everyone.

Hot showers were so welcome at the end of that, took that in favour of a massage. I love this race and has some real tests so thanks to SC20 for another successful event.

The camarderie among the runners was great too as we were all in the same boat.

In short: Top marks to the organisers in the worst of weather
In full: I can't speak highly enough of the organisers and the marshals in particular who gave phenomenal encouragement in the constant rain, cold and - worst of all - biting wind. I did this as part of a '2012 miles in 2012' charity challenge in memory of my dad, who died a year ago. He'd have said we were all mad for doing it - and he'd probably have been right. Will be back again though.

In full: Weather conditions made the race very challenging and only 2 supporters bravely turned out to cheer us on. The Marshalls were fantastic and every one had a smile despite standing in dire conditions, each and every one should be congratulated.

In short: A really hard 20 miles on a good one lap course with really friendly encouraging marshals
In full: This is an excellently organised race with good changing and showering facilities. The course is tough one described as frequently hilly which I totally agree with. If you are doing a marathon then this race is perfect preparation just don't do it too close to your marathon; you need time to recover. This years race was held in terrible condition, cold, rain and high winds making it an even harder race. I felt sorry for the marshals who were out on the course but they were friendly and very encouraging. A race I would definitely do again hopefully in better conditions.I have marked as a race I would do again simply because you have a great sense of achievement when you have finished it.

In short: Hilly but marvellous marshalls made it possible
In full: Nightmare weather for this race this year but amazing marshalls all shouting encouragement to everyone and smiling despite the weather. T shirt and some goodies to finish - well worth the entry fee. A+ Race and organisers
