In short: Multi-loop fun in the May sun
In full: A two and a half loop (!) race, with supberb marshals that were always full of encouragement. Some of the turns on the course are a bit tight, and there are a couple of choke points, but if you run this race for fun rather than a PB, then you will really enjoy it

In short: Way too busy
In full: Forget achieving a decent time here. The crush to get over the bridge and catching the back of the field on the last lap makes this event much slower than it should be.
Also lost count of the runner who were fooled by the false finish.

In short: Respectable club 10k
In full: Some of the route was a little unexciting (some dull pavement bashing along suburban roads), but overall the race was well-organised and marshalled.

Fortunately we had arrived by train, so were able to avoid the lengthy wait that drivers faced in exiting the car park.

In short: Nightmare parking
In full: Nice park bit. Good marshalling around course but water at end ran out, and complete car parking chaos afterwards means surrounding roads will have to be used if this is done again no matter the race instructions.

In short: Nice race ,utterly spoiled by car parking fiasco
In full: So,first the good bits. OK,it's 3 laps and a lot of it is on pavement. But it's well marshalled, fast, nicely run, friendly, especially for non-club runners and at a very reasonable time of 10.30. Stewards were good- fifty of them. Several showed cars where to park. At the end,it took me ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES to exit the field where we were parked. Two stewards were trying to get a thousand cars out of the filed and an adjacent field where there was a car boot sale. No-one from Sutton thought to help. No-one thought this might spoil a good day. It did. This was an utter shambles. You cannot run a public event and then leave the public to flounder in your mess. So,the organisers say they only realised the day before that the council had allowed the car boot sale. So....act accordingly and do something. This HAS to change. It's a bit like this every year. Usually only 20 minutes . But this was a fiasco. Nul points Sutton. Nice race, nice T shirt
but you're not concentrating.

In short: Well organised but dull route
In full: I did ultimately enjoy this race and it was well organised and the atmosphere good but I was hoping more of it would be in the park (should have checked the race map). Also on the narrow pavements overtaking was fairly difficult. Still, the sun was shining and course flat so I'm not going to whinge too much!
