In short: Organisation was not as good this year but we live in difficult time and losing your main spoonsor close to the event made it difficult. New race committee needs to do there home work. However I will be back and I'm sure it will be back to standard n

In short: Organisation seems to have declined
In full: As has been said befoe this is not organised by a club, but this year cock-ups with entries, no pins, and poor results presentation not to mention reduced number of runners is a problem. Competing with Westonbirt 10k held the day after which was a much betterer attended event

In short: Flat course with little slopes, PB potential
In full: Well organised, lots of marshals..thanksc for them. No changing or baggage area at Race HQ, so a long walk to car park instead. Good medals. KM markers were painted on floor - only ones i saw were 6,7 & 8, maybe the use of signs next time as they are useful. Nice cakes. Good corse and i got a PB so i am happy....

In short: Gets better & better
In full: Another well organised race with great atmosphere. Cooler weather than previous years which helped as there are a few climbs.
For a town without its own running club Fairford puts on a great race!!

In short: Highly enjoyable run, as always
In full: Much the same as last year except we had better weather conditions this time (not as hot and slight drizzle). However I didn't bother timing myself and just focused on enjoying the run instead.

Did someone say they had changed the course, it definitely seemed easier than previous years? Glad that the water station was moved to the halfway point as well.

I love that this is part of the festival and the "town crier" starting the race was a particularly nice touch.

One of my favourites and one to do every year. Why more people from Swindon weren't there is beyond me.

In short: A little cooler than the last couple of years!!!
In full: Not as hot as the last couple of years, so it made the race a more pleasent experience.

Thought I would struggle with running the original course this year, however hills were not that bad.

Well done Fairford!!!

See you next year!!!
