In short: Event should be maintained but needs Work on the organisation
In full: 1/ I love the fact that the race was local and the price reasonable.
2/ To me, the overall organisation was ok but could be improved.
Maybe, it would be an idea to give the medals and goody bags as soon as the runners pass the finish line so that we don't have to queue again to get them.
I also agree that the bottles of water were just wasted. Cups would be more appropriate.
3/ My major concern is that I did not see my Number in the list online. I have contacted them twice to request my time/position. So far they have found it wiser to just ignore me !! Not cool !

In short: Organisation was rather chaotic but suited a first-time runner
In full: First ever race so have little to compare it to. I had feared that I would feel out-of-place but it seemed to attract runners of a good range of abilities. Organisation was rather chaotic but I do appreciate being able to do a race so close to home. Have to say I feared a little for the safety of the little old woman with the little old dog who shuffled across the start-line seconds before the off.

In short: Pretty poorly organised, but cheap and quite nice to do a multi lap race
In full: Apart from the marshal at the 5&8K point and the ones at the finish the others could have been a little more lively.

Plastic cups of water would probably be better next time rather than the majority of the bottles being disposed of after a quick gulp!

In short: A bargain race and great people
In full: For £10 I really cannot complain about the organisation of the race. Everyone had a laugh over it and that made it all the more friendly. Nice and local - total bargain!

In short: Shambolic organization for what could be an awesome local event and good value.
In full: Ok, sort out the organization. Could have divided up OTD race numbers into 3 piles and had 3 queues as all they were doing was writing a name down then giving you a number and taking a tenner, simple really. That is why race started late and not because of runners world as said on the day. Great course though and great to over take slower runners on multiple laps. I did PB which was great. I would so do this race again. Thanks

In short: Shambolic but local
In full: This is the 4th year I've done this race as it's on my doorstep, but probably more shambolic than previous years, as the queue was huge. I doubt anything will change, but as it's local and my usual running route I'll continue to do it. I wish they'd sort their organisation out, have some more cheery marshalls (apart from Mr 5/8km marshall who was very chirpy!)and have water at the end!

In short: Hmmmmmmm
In full: Strange run. No contact or email from race organisers once entered through RW. Turned up early to get race number and figure out start location, only to be greeted by long slightly chaotic queue of other runners and on the day registers. At the start of race it was impossible to hear what was being said & what direction to run in, so it was a follow & hope for the best. That said from there in the marshals were very friendly and had an enjoyable run. The end was odd too as car park was part of the race route, so when trying to leave I was driving through people still trying to finish! 6/10, room for improvement.

In short: A little shambolic, but for a tenner I enjoyed it.
In full: Some pros and some cons, but overall still fun.

I didn't have a watch so I still don't know my time as they didn't give any indications of the time. I am not too confident of it turning up on the internet. Some of the marshals were great, some we downright miserable.

Location is good.

This was my first organised race, and I would recommend it, if the poor organisation doesn't worry you too much. If you can take a relaxed attitude, it's fine.
