In short: Tough hills but a nice run
In full: Haven't done this for a few years and forgot how many hills there are. A tough challenge but I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back next year.

In short: Up & down, up & down, up & down - you get the message!
In full: Did this a couple of years ago and don't remember those hills, the one between 6-7k's was horrible! Faultless organisation, brilliant (but challenging) course, great atmosphere and all for £9! Great event, would definitely do again.

In short: Tough 10k but lovely route to run
In full: This is the second time I have done the race. Really enjoyable and testing course that is set in lovely surroundings. Like others I got confused with the distance markers at 6k and so this is the only thing I would suggest needs improving for next time.

In short: Always enjoyable
In full: I've only missed this 10K once in the last 10 years. This is the event that got me back into serious running after being talked into it by a mate who lived locally. It's a real challenge with 3 hills and 3 long slopes to the peak height around 7K. Friendly atmostphere at the rugby club with post-race massage, tea, coffee and BBQ. Marshalls on course also keep your spirits up.

Very happy with yet another PB, this time 42 minutes. Doing it on this tough course has given me the belief that the long-awaited sub-40 on flat may not be far off. A long way from my first gasping wreck of a run back in 2003 when I could barely break 70 minutes!

There aren't many distance markers - but to people who think they saw them way out of place, you may been spotting the marshal station markers (red numbers on a white background). Those are not KM markers.

In short: A good, well organised & friendly event over pleasant but quite hilly countryside
In full: 2nd time I've done this 10k. It's a very pleasant run along winding country lanes. Great atmoshere and well marshalled. Quite hilly. "Up" hills are long and gradual. "Down" hills seemed steeper. Only minus point was distance markers. 6k marker particularly confused me. Assumed I'd got 4k left to go but in reality was only 2 k or less. Lovely downhilll finish.

In short: Loved it!
In full: Only my second race, I did the 5k but you can't rate that online and it's almost the same route anyway. Found it hard (some killer hills!) but very scenic and really enjoyable. Great atmosphere, excellently organised, brilliant marshalls. Loved it!
