In short: Fab mostly off road race- loved it.
In full: Shame about the lack of bluebells but inevitable with the early spring. Lovely run anway, well marshalled. PB potential only in that 12Ks are few and far between. Few challenging hills but still really enjoyable and really friendly marshalls and runners. I hear the cakes were good too although I resisited!

In short: So where were the bluebells!
In full: Great organisation, great route but no bluebells - so I guess that I will have to come back next year to see if I can see them!

In short: All a small race should be - plus delicious cakes!
In full: This had all the advantages of a small race, with the organisation of a big race. Friendly marshals and runners, great village hall as race HQ, inside toilets, changing rooms, all great.

The race itself was along lanes and through beautiful woodlands. I even saw a clump of bluebells, despite the season being practically over.

The hills were more challenging than I was expecting, but the 3 water stations meant no chance of dehydrating even with the gasping!

Was lovely to see a great age range as well, with prizes for over 65 lady and over 70 Male. Oh and did I mention how good the cakes were???

In short: Well organised scenic run
In full: A well organised run on some wonderful routes through scenic countryside.
The marshalls were all friendly and encouraging and there was plenty of them. Water stops were well spaced and managed. The long hill was a bit of a killer, but then that's why we partake of this sport.
Not bothered that there was no t shirt, medal or goody bag. I paid for a pleasant off road run with a bit of challenge and that`s what I got.

In short: Just as a local run should be...
In full: Just as a local run should be... friendly, well organised, proceeds to charity, excellent cakes, a comfy village hall to start from. bluebells were long gone, but a nice varied interesting course nonetheless. This would be an excellent step up race for those wanting something beyond a 10k - a gentle introduction to trail running and really supportive marshals and first aid team making all welcome... well done Pewsey RC and thanks for all the hard work.
