In short: Truly rustic scenery and real off road running with some challenges In full: No pressure here, with a real laid-back, community feel. If you like cakes and bacon butties, get them here. But you will earn them - this is a challenging course! Date of review: May 22, 2013

In short: 3rd time.....gets better every year! In full: The 5km race got extended to a 6km (due to a newly ploughed field)which made this years course even better! The scenery was fantastic, even the bluebells were out. Yet again wonderfully organised, very friendly and one of our (my wife runs this too) favourite events. Thank you to all involved and see you next year, hopefully. Date of review: May 20, 2013

In short: Challenging course with beautiful views In full: The undulating course is no joke, especially with a tough hill less than 2km into the race, but the stunning views over the Surrey Hills and the sheer volume of Bluebells in the forest make it more than worthwhile. Very well organised as well. Date of review: May 20, 2013

In short: Great atmosphere, very well organised, beautiful scenery In full: After renaming it from the Bluebell Run (because the previous 2 years the flowers haven't stuck to their schedule, I assume) this year there were acres of bluebells - glorious! Enough to distract from the tough course - nor really big hills, just endless ups and downs but still beautiful. Loved the charming tiny marshals, the jellybabies at 6k, the little signs to make you laugh on the kilometre markers and the bacon butties especially. Thanks to the lovely man (Dave?) who stood at the last bend and said there were only 100 yards to go - that really lit the afterburners! It was my daughter's first 10k and she couldn't have had a better experience. And she beat me! So we're definitely coming back for a re-match. Date of review: May 20, 2013
