In short: A run in sun - perfect. Congratulations to the organisers (Carlsberg in disguise?). One minor niggle - on-line entry not encrypted

In short: Well organised this year - much better start
In full: It seems the organisers took on the feedback from last year and re-organised the start. It was a much better route as well.
There didn't seem to be as many entrants as last year.
All the marshalls and organisers were friendly and helpful.
Would definately do it again next year and might even get another PB!

In short: Good, well organised race
In full: Runners called forward in 10 minute timebands so nobody should have started ahead of their abilities. Pretty flat and fast course except for the steps and steep path just after half way. Plentiful direction signs and marshalls. Canal towpath dry and firm in the hot weather although possibly treacherous in places if wet. One improvement would be the race numbers, mine dissolved within a couple of miles but otherwise a pleasant Saturday morning run.

In short: Sort the Start Out.
In full: Glorious Route spoiled by lack of organisation and not enough marshalls. I would put that down to it being a first time event. Re-Assured all my £10 went to the charity, but a poor starting area (you cannot have a true race starting on a canal tow path with 200 starters) and no real momento to speak of a massive let down. Get the start on St Thomas's next year, pay for a temp closure or a policeman or 2 and this race will be a gem, because once the field thins out the route is lovely.

In short: Ready steady....
In full: ....go! The start was fun, a kind of pre race treasure hunt to find it! Nice route even with the sudden stone stairs after two or three km, and my certifictae time is much better than my garmin time, so naturally I'll be using that one!

In short: Great venue. Fairly quick with hard sections. More orgaisation and marshalls needed, good race, would do it again.
