In short: Evesham 10k is an example of how to organise a 10k race!
In full: My second year of doing this one. I love it. Will be back next year. As with last year very well organised and if another running club would like to put on a 10k they should consult the committee of Evesham Running Club. Congratulations to everyone involved. I will definitely be back next year!

In short: Scenic, well marshalled, well supported, narrow and slippery in places.
In full: This is a very popular run for good reason - there's plenty of parking and toilets, it's a lovely route and the locals and marshals cheer loudly throughout. Consequently in some areas it's crowded and because of the heavy rainfall I was afraid I might fall, but that must be unusual in July.

I was pleased to be offered a full bottle of water instead of a cup since it turned out warmer than expected, and very grateful for the banana at the end. There was only one water station, so on a hot day it would be a good idea to take some for the first half of the race.

It was disappointing that the chip timing failed for some; after a delay of several days I've been told that my chip and gun time are the same, but as a seasoned racer I know that's not true. I guess I should be glad I had cramp and wasn't on for a PB!

In short: Evesham's London Beater
In full: I visited two toilets in Evesham and both were cleanest public loos I've ever seen. There was tonnes of free parking, friendly, helpful marshalls and officials, fascinating course and crowds of spectators topped off with a mega medal. Why would anyone suffer the crowds in London when there's this little beauty in the countryside ?

In short: Excellent well marshalled event & value for money.
In full: This is the fourth year I've run this one and as usual very friendly marshalls and a nice medal to boot. My son did his first 10K with me & he enjoyed the encouragement from both the crowds & the chap who announced his name as he was entering the finishing straight. I'm sure both of us will be back again next year as 10k's don't get much better than this one.

In short: well organised, nice surroundings, good value
In full: Well organised, good marshalling, some nice scenery around the river and good value for money too. Banana and water at the end were just what I needed, nice medal too.

Course is pretty flat with no significant changes in height. It had rained heavily the day before so it was muddy in places with a few puddles to dodge, but would have good PB potential if it's dry.

In short: Well organised 10k
In full: Good mix of abilities and terrain make this a popular local run. Reasonably flat so PB potential. I was 3 minutes down on last year - still getting over an infection - but enjoyed it nonetheless. Course muddy and wet in places but the sun shone for the first time in what feels like a month!
