In short: Excellent race and venue - a must for the racing calendar
In full: Great 10k race on the Saturday, cheap camping with family friendly activities - lots for the kids to do. Also dog friendly. ^hr challenge also excellent - a good route and we always seem to get good weather. Our 3rd year back and definitely a favourite.

In short: Superb weekend, tents, trails, hills and wine. Cracking combination
In full: I'm not sure I want to post this review and let the secret out the bag. Lovely intimate event, fantastic surroundings and fabulous people. This is my second year and I'm hooked. Camping from Friday night, 10K Saturaday and a 6 hour endurance relay Sunday. Some run alone, or in teams of 2,4 or 6.

Lots of families and groups make for a nice atmosphere. Good showers and loos and a large communal tent.

My only complaint is that the hill 2K in made me sweat so much I got sunburnt (again!)

In short: Super weekend away with friends with a great run involved too!
In full: We had a great weekend at this event. The course for the 6hour was challenging but beautiful and very good. There was a great atmosphere with lots of things going on. I loved meeting Sally Gunnell as well as visiting the McCains roadshow. Will definately be back next year!!!

In short: Challenging but good
In full: Mixed emotions on this one as I had forgotten how hilly Cannock Chase is - ha ha! It put 5 minutes on top of my normal 10k time! The first 6kms are tough, slow and long slogs and some short sharp climbs but the scenery is lovely. Running through the trees and woodland was lovely.

Very, very, very well organised. Excellent marshalling. Loved the free lucozade goodies too! Lovely medal for all finishers too.

AND a celebrity to meet! Bonus.

Might do it again, next time though I'd do a load more hill prep.

In short: Great introduction to off road running
In full: First time at this event and will be back. Very well organised, very fiendly staff around the site and the marshalls were smashing.
Medals for everyone which personally I prefer to t-shirts and energy gels!
Facilities were spot on, although small queues for toilets and showers but you can live with that on a nice day in the sun recovering :)

In short: A little gem
In full: I stumbled across this race on the RW and boy am I glad I did. I entered the 10K on the day but will definitely by back next year to camp and stay for the whole weekend. It was brilliantly organised, loads for the kids to do in safe environment and I got to meet Sally Gunnell which made my weekend. The race was challenging but the scenery was beautiful and although a PB was never on the cards I thoroughly enjoyed this race.

Top marks to the organisers. My only critism is that it should be publicised more!!

I'm still buzzing a day later. WELL DONE.
