In short: I had never run 15km before-so this was a challenge for me. Great training race with the hill etc. Will definetly do again next year. And its for a worthwhile charity

In short: Pleasant Sunday run in Finsbury Park
In full: I always dread running in Finsbury park because of the hills but despite the fact that it is very hard to get a PB it is still good training.
The organization was basic but ok, lots of encouraging marshalls along the way, a fair mix of runners from experienced to newbies.
It was a pleasant atmosphtere, shame about the toilets, they should have a few more, in fact the start time was delayed because of the queues!
Goody bag was average, was expecting a banana considering it was lunchtime and I just ran 10K but instead I got a teabag, a mint, small antibacterial gel, recipes cards, Stroke magazine and a voucher for Sweatshop which you had to spend instore or online (you were not allowed to use it at the sweatshop tent onsite). Got a small bottle of water at the finish which always helps!!

In short: Good fun - but hills will make getting a PB challenging
In full: Nice atmosphere, could do with more loos and quicker turnaround at the registration and bag drop areas. Well marshalled, which was necessary given the many twists and turns. Decent race overall.

In short: Tough 10/15k run, route was more challenging than I expected.
In full: Overall I enjoyed this race, organisation was good and friendly. Nice group warm up to start with. I expected to just lap the edge of the park but the route was varied through the park and my family was able pitch up by the playground and watch me go past 4 times. Billed as a fun run but more challengening than that!

In short: Could be PB potential not for me tho :(
In full: I enjoyed this run, made good use of the park and its lay out..Never run round Finsbury Park before so allowed me to see what was what. Stroke Association did well in my opinion.
