In short: Probably better than usual.
In full: Lovely weather helped after a week of rain etc. Well organised, well marshalled. This is a great race for all on a course that allows everyone to do well. Organised locally without all the hype of bigger races, it is as it should be, turn up and enjoy a good friendly race.

The issue of tee shirts is out of proportion, sadly the entry form did say tee shirts but it seems a medal was given instead. Surely any memento is suitable - most races get criticised for 'boring tee shirts' so just enjoy your medal!

Well done Woodhall, keep up the good work.

In full: Very congested and very difficult to run at own pace at the back. Took almost 3 mins to get to start line after gun. Solid wall of people so impossible to run at own pace. Very frustrated. Start needs to be staggered. Seemed ok up to about 400 people, after that, felt like a waste of time. No t shirts at end and was told that they just gave those left over from last year out to first back. Shouldn't have advertised t shirts if that the case.

In short: Rural Run!
In full: The route was good, car parking good, adequately marshalled.

No T Shirt as they'd run out - but if they knew how many people were running this shouldn't have happened!

Anyway, it was my 2nd race, I got a great time and I'll be back next year :)

In full: very disappionting not to get a tee shirt at the end when all front runners got one and nobody seemed to care about back runners who all work just as hard in thier running to complete each course Maggie

In short: Great Race
In full: Not much to say - very popular local race, generally well organised, medal and t-shirt available at the finish; well supported by marshalls and spectators. Thanks to all!

In short: Enjoyable flat road-race, recommend it to every runner
In full: Enjoyable flat road-race, good course, scenic route. Not half as many spectators as Lincoln City 10k but this is very scenic, out in the sticks, so not much spectator support until you get back to Woodhall Spa near the end. A lot of people moaning about lack of T-shirts for the finishers, that doesn't bother me. Only my second 10k event so not sure what the standards are but plastic cups at the water stations were a bit of a surprise! Difficult to drink from. Good parking, was free. Tip: get there early.

In short: great race but....
In full: some small gripes. namely the lack of t-shirt (didnt really want another white cotton one anyway), and poor placement of distance markers. Last Km was about 900 meters.

Other than that an enjoyable event on a fast track.

In short: Positives - Nice weather, good course, Negatives - water and T-Shirt shortages
In full: Good carparking facilities were the major benefit but at only £3 less than the Lincoln 10k I expected a little more for my money I guess. Upon finishing a little girl offered up a bucket of medals. She seemed quite scared at the glut of people clamouring. Bottled water was not readily avalable at the end but near the toilet area and they had run out of T-Shirts despite promising everyone one for every finisher. Petty little things I know but every runner seemed in good spirits. It was nice though when I finished and was able to watch the smiles on peoples faces when they too crossed the line.
