In short: Stunning scenery made up (almost) for the hills
In full: The most scenic race I've ever done - the hard climb over the 1st 3km was worth it. Great organisation - efficient registration, fun warm up, friendly & supportive marshalls, & a good fast downhill near the end (though the final km was rather long!). Shame there weren't enough goody bags to go round, so some of us 'slowies' missed out. Otherwise pretty faultless & definitely one to do again.

In short: a hard but interesting race with a mix of surfaces and scenery
In full: I found the course very hard especially the first few kilometres but what goes up must come down so it got better as it went on. I am glad the weather had been dry or the run through the woods would have been treacherous. The marshalls were great and the organisation overall very good. The only problem was lack of signs to the car park which meant runners parking on the road while the car park remained fairly empty.Excellent goody bag considering the price but it would be nice if the medal actually had the name of the race on it.If you have not done this race give it a go, you will not regret it.

In short: Great day, Great fun, Great Wishford!!
In full: Turned up to the race in beautiful weather if not abit hot!! Great location, brilliant atmosphere, good warm up! Race crew were very helpful and well organised. First 3.5km uphill from start was tough but scenery made up for it!All race marshals were great throughout. Top support when finishing and goodie bag was a bonus. Have run the race for the last 3 years and can't wait for next year - I love it!!!

In short: Probably the most scenic 10k in Wiltshire
In full: The 3k race was being run when I arrived and it was slightly chaotic and dangerous for the young runners with drivers parking cars along the race route. Would of been safer to have the 3k after the start of the 10k. The race was tough, first 4k uphill and more hills followed. The scenery was glorious and the route enjoyable. I would not recommend the event to a total beginner because it is a hard slog. Per race warm up was fun

In short: party atmosphere like your best family get together and an awesome run - something for everyone
In full: Loved it. My first time. Great marshalls and helpers. Lots of rain half way round made for exciting trail section (i underestimated the hills!).
Fab goody-bag with beanie, lots of kids for the 3k as we set off on 10.7k - weird distance.
Great signposting, mix of terrain. Whole range of abilities (though happily no elite which gave me a top ten placing which I'm sure I didn't deserve).
Can't wait for next year - really friendly. See you there.

In short: It certainly was a 'Great' Wishford
In full: Excellent organisation from the moment you arrive. Organiser on a tannoy giving clear instruction and direction. Well marked and staffed race registration. Crazy warm up which I respectfully declined! Considerig you could get lost in Grovely Woods and not be found for years the course was very well marshalled. Amazed this isn't more popular really.

In short: Excellent race
In full: Some improvements this year on an already very good race, the extra water station was great and a goody bag with seasonal event beanie! triffic.
Good event for running famillies.
