In short: Well organised, friendly and a good challenging course
In full: For such a small event this was amazingly well organised - secure bag storage, enough toilets, good catering, excellent marshalling. Many larger event organisers could learn plenty from this.
The course is definitely not going to get you a PB, it's hilly, muddy in places and plenty of tree roots to fall over. Lots of fun and I would do it again next weekend if I could. See you next year.

In short: nice challenging run
In full: I enjoyed this run, and other than a few teething problems it had good organisation. Course is quite challenging - both the terrain and the navigation round the woods. But the atmosphere was good and I'd make the effort to return next year.

In short: Quite a challenging course through beautiful scenery.
In full: Inaugural race -which showed a bit with a delayed start & a couple of places where the signs were a little ambiguous. I had to help direct some runners who semmed to have got very lost. Very friendly. This is quite a challenging course, with virtually no flat bits & some quite gruelling hills (certainly for someone of my age - 62) & it is a genuine trail course with single track paths through forest with tree roots, etc as well as a few muddy bits. It could be a lot muddier if there had been more rain, I reckon. At my age,I'm trying to widen my experience by doing as many different races as I can - but I'd certainly think about doing this one again.
