In short: Nice atmosphere and and varied scenery on the route
In full: A good course with some decent hills and a nice easy (flatish) finish, good fun!

In short: A great half marathon
In full: I really enjoyed this run.
A very well organised race, and a big thank you to Truro Running Club for their organisation. The course was very well marshalled, with clear direction and support being given.
The course itself was a bit cheeky in places, but not so bad that it removed the enjoyment of the run (however, I am now convinced that all roads in Cornwall only go up). These were complemented with the wonderful views that were provided at other parts of the course. Although the organisers can not arrange the weather, the short, sharp shower just added to the level of enjoyment (you can call me sadistic if you like).
The goodie bag was very well stocked, and a vast improvement on the ones given out at the much bigger Bristol Half Marathon (I am still to drink the beer due to having to drive).
The local support around the course was much appreciated, and a pleasant change for all runners to be on the receiving end of the encouragement, and not just members of the local club.
All in all, I am still feeling on a high after this run, and can not put into words just how much I enjoyed it. Once again, a big 'thank you'.

In short: Very enjoyable race, well marshalled and supported.
In full: This scenic, and challenging race takes in the cathedral, quiet country lanes, and along the fal estuary. There were a large number of friendly marshalls and spectators along the route offering encouragement. I think this year there was a new start to the race, and it's possible that some runners, including myself went wrong near the beginning and may therefore have run a little further than 13.1. (My garmin died at 9 miles) The baggage collection could perhaps be improved, by having a larger storage area, but this is a minor gripe, and I thought Truro running club laid on a very good race.

In short: Well done Truro running club - another fab half
In full: Weather threw almost everything at the runners today but that just added to the fun. Don't know if i'm alone but I clocked 13.27miles on my GPS and I reckon i did follow the correct route! Finish in lemon quay is great. Lovely place to end, coming out the tunnel to the crowds who are enthusiastic all round the course.

In short: Extremely enjoyable albeit hard
In full: I enjoyed this race. Didn't think I would but did. It had enough variation to keep you motivated. A long climb up for mile 3 but after that to mile 8 it was a fabulous run until the run up to mile 9 which again was steep. Then it was back on the trail and down the first long hill. The supporters were brilliant as were the marshals. My only criticism would perhaps another water station would have been good. Will be back next year - well done!
