In short: Well organised, nice to look at, could do with an earlier start In full: Very smoothly run and a nice course. Unexpectadly sharp hill at 4k which was made difficult by the heat. I think the 10:30 start could do with being moved forward to 9 or 9:30 but that is my only minor complaint. Will he back next year for sure :) Date of review: September 10, 2012

In short: Good organisation, nasty hill in the heat In full: Well organised, even if a couple of Km markers went missing. The hilly in the middle isn't nice goes on for ages, if your looking for a PB look elsewhere but a good challenging run.
Only very slight suggestion that a couple of portaloos in the car park at the start would have been helpful, otherwise excellent.

In short: A really good and testing 10k In full: A very well organised, nicely located and challenging 10k run, not one where you are likely to smash your best times. But a very good work out.
Credit to the organisers for effective use of marshalls, clear instructions and for the added benefit of chip timing. Date of review: September 9, 2012

In short: Very well organised for a first time event. In full: This was an excellent race. The route was perfect with no traffic, one long but not too steep hill and tracks through the woods to keep the sun off. The organisation was great . You could tell the organisers were still learning the ropes but they coped very well. The marshalls were friendly and there was a good crowd clapping every finisher. I hope this race becomes very popular in future. Date of review: September 23, 2011
