In short: Scenic 10k run through the Norfolk Countryside! In full: Very well organised run starting from Greshams School, which makes a good base. Well marshalled, thanks to them as it was very cold! There is a small off road section which makes for a pleasant change. T shirt as a momento which I prefer. Would definitely do it again. Date of review: October 28, 2012

In short: My new favourite 10k In full: Loved this race. nice and flat (although some were unhappy that hills had been removed this year - no hills is fine by me!), really pretty route, great atmosphere, precision measured to exactly 10k and each 1k spot-on correct by my Garmin. As the previous comment, bit of a worry that so many things were right and yet there was a water shortage at the finish. Not fussed about not getting a medal, but the details did say that there would be one, and there seemed to be a shortage of t-shirts in a small size. Being sponsored by Bakers and Larners, a cereal bar and a bottle of water would have been much appreciated. Still loved this run, and got a pb! Date of review: October 17, 2011

In short: A mix of road and cross country with great scenic views. In full: North Norfolk Beach Runners have replaced the Holt 7 mile with this new route which combines road with cross country. The off road was very enjoyable, especially as I do the majority of my training around field tracks and this enabled the runner to gain impressive views. My only negative of the race was at the finish. Not enough water was on offer, secondly the race promised a medal as well as a t-shirt, but this did not appear. T-Shirt poor quality, heavily sponsored - one for decorating in! Date of review: October 16, 2011
