In short: Excellent first-time race
In full: This was my first proper 10K race - good organisation, great t-shirt, excellent support all the way round. It was hot but the water stations were well marshalled.Would highly recommend.

In short: Very hot!!
In full: Event was very well organised, in a great location, well marshalled and the t shirt was the best I've got for a long time. However the 2pm start is not ideal. Not only does it mean you're whole day is affected, if the weather is hot like this weekend then 2pm is probably the worst time to be running, as proved to be the case on Sunday. The heat certainly took its toll on most people who took part. The beer tent was certainly a sight for sore eyes at the end of the race.

In short: Great atmosphere but an earlier start would be good!
In full: Really looked forward to this race, after doing the Purbeck 10k. Wanted to beat my previous time, but found the heat put paid to that - probably my hottest race to date - even the Swanage Half didn't seem so painful last year! Organisation and support around the course was excellent and nice to have the crowds cheering you on! Maybe a change in race time could be considered - earlier in the morning would be ideal!
Will have a go next year though, and thought the T-shirt was great. Am proudly wearing it today!

In short: HOT HOT HOT!!!!
In full: I must thank the organisers and everyobody involved for a superbly organised race. The atmosphere was superb and this really helped on a very hot day.

The marshalls were incredibly encouraging especially as they had their own sauna jackets on!

It was a very hot day and I suffered big time - blisters and general fatigue. However the water stations were well placed and efficiently run.

The only reason that I won't definitely do it again, is the start time. I am pretty sure that the time cannot be altered due to mini runs etc. However, for me it is just the wrong time to run.

Well done Poole Runners.

See you next year

maybe!

In short: Superbly organised yet again
In full: Good course, good marshalling, superb organisation. The extra water station this year was a brilliant move. It's hot more often than it's not, so perhaps this can be a permanent part of the event?

This is one of the best races I do, well done to the team.
