In short: Excellent organisation, encouraging marshalls, good value for money
In full: Pretty smooth course - long, gradual incline rather than a hill. Good facilities (including those for the cold supporters). Equally suitable for newbie or pro. Plenty of marshals, who encouraged and cheered (possibly to keep warm but it's all the same!). Good value for money.
