In short: A great first attempt considering Chris had 3 races to sort in a short space of time, I am panicking about 1!
In full: Nice quite testing course, but it was multi-terrain so expected. Unfortunately I don't think Chris got the help needed on the day. Thought the amount of marshals was good but if even one of them cracked a smile it might have helped, don't think they have ever done a race before!

T shirt situation a bit of a shambles at the end. But like I said I wouldn't fancy getting 3 races sorted like that so hats off to Chris Farrell well done mate.

In short: A pleasant race but the organisation let it down
In full: Nice multi terrain course nothing too challenging, nice woodland section.Never did find changing rooms, stewards didn't help. Goody bag not up to much but fair considering price, would have been happy with money going to Poppy Appeal. Results still not available (30 hours later) must be to do with being a council run event. More effort needed to get me back.

In short: Challenging but enjoyable multi-terrain race - great first year!
In full: Well done to Chris Farrell and his team for a great climax to the inaugural West Lindsey Series of races!

A good mix of terrain including grass, sand, tarmac and leafy woodland will have challenged many runners - but if we want a walk in the park we can go there and do that anytime...

PB for me, so will definitely be back next year :)

In short: Interesting multi terrain course
In full: enjoyed the event, traffic free challenging course, grass, slightly undulating road, woodland and sand!weather made the event a success for me, could have been a different response if the elements were not so kind!
Good to have changing/shower facilities though not secure. Well done to the organisers on this their first series.

In short: Something different !
In full: All in all a good series and excellent value for money. In defence of the organisers on one of the comments it was a multi terrain run, so you can expect wet grass, mud etc, luckily no rain!
It was hard work, but that is what you expect on this type of run. Goody bag a bit poor but useful for muddy shoes!
Could have done with some signs to the changing/shower area as it took a while to find these, marshals were unsure, but helpful.
Hope the series is back next year.

In short: Bad organisation, lack of atmosphere, hard work
In full: Organisers didn't bother sending my race pack out, as they didn't even have me down for running the race, and I wasn't the only one. If you hadn't entered months in advance then there was no hope! Poor goody bag, a bottle of water & a Penguin bar (snack not ideal for runners after a race) & a medal. Not bad for the price I guess. As ground was wet, running on grass for 4 km was horrid. Going back on yourself on the route for most of the distance was also a bit dull and the race was also not very flat, definitely not ideal for PBs or beginners.

In short: As home races go this is a natural part of my Sunday run!
In full: Well organised race and well attended. Good for beginners and running through the woods I always find relaxing. A good supporting crowd, respect to everyone who observed the pre-run minutes silence.
